"I have been asked if I will do commission artwork, and my answer has been YES, as long as you're not in a hurry, as I teach Art full time. Here is an example  of a painting I did recently for a client in Hawaii who wanted to send a painting to someone in California to commemorate their two cavaliers who have passed on in their adult life. I received the photo of the two puppies on a chair and I asked it would be ok to change the setting from the chair to an interesting foreground, mid-ground and background. I was thinking of adding some grass and flowers and a blue sky. But since the puppies were from Hawaii originally, Diamond Head Mountain was suggested as the background and the photo you see here was sent to me. Here is how the painting came out with the puppies, flowers, water and mountain. I included a frame and sent it priority mail to the the recipients for whom this was a surprise, this past Saturday. They received it on Monday and here is what they had to say, "Just received the painting you did for us. We love it!! It is the two boys. Sir Henry and Sir Winston will always be young now! Thanks "

Sir Richard is really good.  Sir Richard is like Sir Winston who always wanted to please.  Maybe Sir Winston is looking down and telling Sir Richard to be a good boy for us.

 Lee and I received a box containing a painting which our friend and breeder Darlene commissioned for us from Lisa Hossler (Heavenly Cavaliers).  I want to thank Lisa by showing her work and a few words taken from her website.  But  most of all how can I say thanks to Darlene for giving us a our Sirs forever young.

We want to thank Darlene for helping us get our new addition to the family.  Sir Richard is an Orchard Hill Cavalier from Leesport, PA.  He was born on May 4.    His father is CH. Verheyen Dustin.  His mom is Orchard Hill Ask the Moon.  I also want to thank Erica Venier from Orchard Hill Cavaliers for allowing Lee and I to raise one of her puppies.  We really want to thank you Erica for the chance to raise this pup.
