It took a "village" or a team to make 2016 a great year.  Darlene's team is made up of four great p.eople:    JESKA, EVAN,  JAKE and  DARLENE.  Photo was taken at Haleiva Joe's when the team received their award for Morgan's placement this year.  They are looking forward to 21017

OK-now what can I do?

The tube is moved to different levels - first the ground then higher. Maybe has to jump up. The higher level shows that she is not afraid. They then hide it  (container)  between levels. She has to jump between.   She is not scared at all.

Coming soon info on OH True Colours -Journey's first show.   You can guess that he did well

Orchard Hill Maybe Forever II earned her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE at West Oahu Kennel Club Show by taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite  for a 3 point major.  Handled by Jeska Malia Smith-Fujimoto. Orchard Hill Maybe Forever II has been with Darlene for less than a year.

Barn Hunt is the new and quickly growing dog sport catching fire across the country! Barn Hunt is based on the traditional roles of many breeds in ridding farms, barns, crop storage areas, and homes of destructive vermin. Some breeds were specifically created to fill this role.  Barn Hunt is open to any dog of any breed or mix who wishes to play the game and can fit through an 18" wide by bale-height tall tunnel. Barn Hunt has titles, levels of increasing difficulty, and championships. Barn Hunt is an independent sport, but titles are recognized by both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and United Kennel Club (UKC).

Hawaii Bred and Home Grown -"GCHB Enelrad's A Dream Within A Dream" (Morgan for his fans and followers ) is Hawaii's Number 1 Cavalier and Hawaii's Number 6 Toy Dog for the 2016 show year.  Jake Lum says Morgan is such "a dream to show".  Darlene Tsubota should be proud of her breeding and her raising of such a great dog.  And YES-Morgan you are a WINNER!!!!!

Champion Orchard Hill Maybe Forever II  at her first training day in early 2016

The main reason that people fall in love with the Cavalier breed is its friendly and out-going temperament. You must deal with a reputable breeder.  Darlene Tsubota is one.  It took months to convince her that Lee and I would be good parents to her children.  She only has puppies occasionally and people wait to get one.  We waited two years but we're lucky enough to get two (Sir Winston and Sir Henry).  A few years later, we brought Sir Lancelot into our family.

Darlene Tsubota began breeding purebred dogs in the early 1980's.  Darlene belongs to the following clubs:

   Hawaiian Kennel Club

Toy Dog Fanciers of Hawaii

American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club USA (The Ohriginal club)

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club UK

Hawaiian Terrier Association (Treasurer and Show Secretary)

Below is Darlene's 2016 Christmas Card, showing her family.  Yes, even being in CA we have remain friends and talk at least once or more a week.  Lee and I were lucky to keep "OH Maybe Forever" while she was waiting her 120 days to get into Hawaii. On December 1, 2016, we began  a six month "Journey" to get Darlene's next dog "True Colours-Journey" legal to get into Hawaii.
